New Year, New View!

The chef sink - the perfect cross between style and convenience

We all know it’s true- a sink can make or break a kitchen’s workflow. That small space in your countertop can become extremely high-valued real estate in a busy kitchen! After a year spent in close proximity to every inch of your home, perhaps you too are inspired to renew and refresh your kitchen - the key of family meals and daily preparation. If you’re looking for high-impact changes to make in your space the sink is an especially great place to start that renovation.

Enter the chef sink - the perfect cross between style and convenience. The chef sink, aka the work station sink, is a study in multipurpose functionality. Workstation sinks are created to be paired with meal prep accessories: cutting boards, knife holders, ingredients holders, and colanders are high on that list. These sinks also have options for easier cleanup, like drainboards, drying mats and sponge holders. Accessories can slide across single or double basins on built-in sink ledges.

These versatile sinks are incredibly effective for home entertaining. A few quick changes turn your sink serving boards, ice bucket stands, and snack holders. Extra counter space is a gift in any kitchen, but particularly appreciated in a small or busy kitchen. A chef sink would make all the difference in a townhouse or a place with limited countertops. We are all about exciting new changes that make your life easier.

We’re proud to share that our Owings Mills kitchen renovation has earned top honors for Best Mid-Century Modern Renovation in the Baltimore Magazine Home & Design Awards . The project will be featured in the magazine’s April 2026 issue. What began as a necessary plumbing repair beneath the slab quickly evolved into something much larger—a full reimagining of a 1959 kitchen that the homeowners already loved. Rather than starting over, the vision centered on preserving the spirit of the original space while elevating its performance, materiality, and experience.

We are honored to share that one of our recent projects has been featured on the cover of Kitchen & Bath Design News as part of their April feature, Next-Level Showers . This issue explores how the modern shower has evolved beyond utility into something far more experiential. A place for restoration, efficiency, and daily ritual. We are proud to see our work included in this broader conversation around how thoughtful design can elevate even the most routine moments. Led by designer Stephanie Twarowski, the featured primary bathroom reflects a shift we are seeing across many of our projects. Clients are placing greater emphasis on the shower as the focal point of the space, prioritizing both performance and atmosphere.
